Just after a fresh breakfast we head for the marvellous ancient city of Mahabalipuram graced by incredible stone carved huge monuments. Cave Temples belonging to 7th Cent AD have finely cut rock columns that your camera would love. The Granite carved Shore Temples overlooking the Bay of Bengal are genius masterpieces of South Indian Architecture. Return to Chennai for the night stay.
